Nokia asks consumers to choose it's next phone

Nokia asks consumers to choose it's next phoneAs we know Nokia's competition in the smartphone market is ever growing. In an attempt to win back it's customer base the company is asking customers to choose a design for it's next phone.

Following it's 'Design by Community' project, customers are given three designs out of which they should choose their 'Ultimate Concept Phone'. Amidst their crumbling profits Nokia has started off this project in March this year and had over 72,000 responses.

Consumers have responded by voting for:
  • 4-inch capacitive display
  • open source OS
  • unlimited multitasking
  • HDMI
  • 802.11 b/g/n WiFi
  • Dolby Surround Sound
  • 8MP camera with 4x optical zoom among others.
The winning sketch will be transformed into a 3D representation and showcased on the Nokia Conversations Blog.
