Nokia 5530 receives (30.0.009) software update

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has just received a software update, which bring the 30.0.009 software version along with several new features and improvements to the device. You can download the update to your device using Nokia Software Update.

This update bring universal kinetic scrolling to the device among other updates. The web browser has been updated to version 7.2.3 adding full screen mode by default and improved kinetic scrolling. Shazam and Ovi Sync have been added to the device.

Several updates and optimizations have been reported including the RAM which has freed up by 2MB. Icon refreshes have also been done on the firmware.

The Nokia 5530 is a Symbian smartphone which features a 2.9 inch touch display, 70MB of internal storage, 4GB microSD storage, a 3.2 megapixel camera and is powered by 434 MHz processor with 128MB of RAM.
