Apple iPhone 4 sells 1.7 Million Units in 3 Days

Apple iPhone 4 sells 1.7 Million Units in 3 DaysThe Apple iPhone 4 is out, with a very high demand that Apple was unable to match. The device has managed to break it's predecessor's record by selling 1.7 million devices in just 3 days since it's launch. The iPhone 4 features a 3.5 inch retina touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1GHz A4 processor from Apple.

The Apple iPhone 3GS and the Apple iPhone 3G both sold 1 million in it's first 3 days which itself is not so bad.

While the demand seems to exceed the iPhone 4 supply, unsatisfied customers have been complaining about poor reception on their devices. Apple's response of having to hold the iPhone the 'right way' was not a response that anyone would be happy with.

Apple is rumored however to be readying an update (iOS 4.0.1) which is said to fix reception problems.
